According to The Verge and Reuters, Snapchat is confirmed to be in early internal testing of a paid subscription called Snapchat+ (or Snapchat Plus) that gives users early access to exclusive features.

Moreover, app researcher Alessandro Paluzzi took to Twitter to share some of the features we could expect on Snapchat+ such as the ability to pin a friend as your “#1 BFF”, have access to exclusive Snapchat icons, display a Snapchat+ badge on your profile, and even see how many friends have rewatched your story.
So… by subscribing to #Snapchat+ you can:

2️⃣ Get access to exclusive Snapchat icons
3️⃣ Display a badge in your profile
4️⃣ See your orbit with BFF
5️⃣ See your Friend's whereabouts in the last 24 hours

According to Paluzzi, Snapchat+ may be priced at 4.59 Euros per month, 24.99 Euros per 6 months, and 45.99 Euros per year. It would definitely be interesting to see how Snapchat implements a paid subscription with news of Telegram also recently announcing its premium subscription as well.
