Netflix is adding a new quality of life update that allows users to lock each profile with a PIN.
As part of Netflix’s parental control update, users may now add PINs to individual profiles to prevent kids from wandering into the adult section by switching profiles. Additionally, it will also keep other users on the account from messing with your recommendations, continue watching list, and more.
Other added parental controls that are included in the update are:
- Filtering titles based on the maturity rating in the user’s country
- Disabling auto-play on kids’ profiles
- Blocking specific titles by name
To set a PIN, go to your account setting, navigate to the ‘Profile & Parental Controls’ section, then you should see a setting for requiring a PIN.
