The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) continues to suspend its number coding scheme on June 8, 2020.
Until further notice, the Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program of the agency will not be implemented due to the limited operations of public transportation in Metro Manila. The information was posted on the agency’s Facebook page.
According to MMDA, the lifting of the number coding scheme continues public mobility for commuters who are required to report to work.
Yesterday, MMDA announced the implementation of a modified number coding scheme as Metro Manila remains to be be under Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine.
