Fujifilm X-A7, X-T200 firmware updates include webcam feature

Fujifilm X-A7 and X-T200, the brand’s digital mirrorless cameras, gets a firmware update.

According to the Facebook post of Fujifilm Philippines, both cameras can now be used as webcams for online meetings and live streaming after installing the firmware updates. This means that when the cameras are plugged in any 64-bit Windows 10 desktop/laptop or Mac devices running in macOS Catalina and macOS Molave via USB cable, they will be connected as a USB webcam.

Good news, content creators! You can now use the X-A7 and X-T200 as webcam for your livestream and online meetings….

The updates also include a minor bug fix for the cameras.

How to use the webcam feature in the Fujifilm X-A7 and X-T200:

  1. Download and install the firmware upgrade in the camera via memory card.
  2. Open the camera then go to Setup Menus.
  3. Choose CONNECTION SETTING then USB MODE.
  4. Connect the USB cable to the camera and desktop/laptop.

The Fujifilm X-T200 and Fujifilm X-A7 firmware updates can be downloaded via Windows and Mac desktops/laptops. The software update can also be done in Fujifilm X-A7 via smartphone or tablet.
