As the country transitions to the new normal, consumer finance provider Home Credit has recently unveiled its QR-enabled credit card for contactless payments.
Existing Home Credit Card cardholders, through the My Home Credit App, may now scan QR codes to pay for their purchases in any partner merchants and retailers with AUB PayMate nationwide. Customers automatically earn 1% cashback from every successful transaction done via QR code payment, and may pay on installment fees without interest.
Do note that customers may need to update to the latest version of the app to enjoy its new features.
According to Home Credit Philippines CEO David Minol, the new payment option ensures a safer, more convenient, and secure way of shopping. “With this new feature in our credit card and mobile app, our customers can enjoy the safest form of payments—one that involves zero contact and handling of cash—not to
mention the most convenient,” he shared.
Currently, the app has recorded with over four million downloads. Home Credit plans to integrate self-service digital tools, such as voice and chatbots, on its mobile app.
