ABS-CBN launches Kapamilya Online Live

ABS-CBN strengthens the digital presence for its entertainment shows with the launch of Kapamilya Online Live.

The broadcasting network brings in its well-loved programs via livestreaming in the digital space. The audience may now watch new episodes of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, It’s Showtime, ASAP Natin ‘To, Love Thy Woman, A Soldier’s Heart, Magandang Buhay, Paano Kita Mapasasalamatan, and Iba Yan through the ABS-CBN Entertainment Facebook and YouTube channels.

“By live streaming our shows on our Facebook and YouTube accounts for free without any subscription fees, we hope to be able to reach more Filipinos and stay true to our promise to continue to serve Filipinos in whatever way we can,” ABS-CBN chief operating officer for Broadcast Cory Vidanes said.

The Kapamilya Online Line is just one of the company’s initiatives in digital transformation as more audiences consume more content online. Among its digital platforms is the streaming service iWant that houses ABS-CBN programs as well as local movies and shows. Currently, it has over 11 million subscribers.

ABS-CBN News, on the other hand, will continue to broadcast its news programs online such as TV Patrol and The World Tonight on its Facebook page.

ABS-CBN recently shared that it would focus on businesses that do not require a legislative franchise, including digital channels, cable, international licensing and distribution, and production of content for various streaming services.

Other viewers residing in the Philippines may also watch ABS-CBN programs through the Kapamilya Channel available on cable and satellite TVs.
