• HDR10+
• Corning Gorilla Glass 6
• 8GB RAM option (Strix)
• Dedicated macro camera
• Higher front camera resolution
• Updated Bluetooth version
• Voice Wakeup
• AeroActive Cooler 3 accessory
• Larger battery capacity
Lenovo Legion Phone Duel:
• Higher ultrawide camera resolution
• Faster charging technology
Based on the available specs, the ROG Phone 3 dominates the Legion Phone Duel in many aspects, but it doesn’t mean that the latter is a slouch.
Starting with the display, both devices have over 6-inch screens with the Legion Phone Duel having a slightly larger size, but the 0.6-inch difference is negligible. Both also have Full HD+ resolutions, AMOLED panels, and 144Hz refresh rate. At this point, we can already say that display quality is excellent in both devices. However, if we’re going to nitpick, the ROG Phone 3 supports HDR10+, a slightly faster touch sampling rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 6.
For the memory, both have 256GB and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage, and 12GB and 16GB LPDDR5 RAM. However, the ROG Phone 3 has a Strix Edition model with an 8GB RAM capacity, which is offered at a lower price.
When it comes to imaging, The ROG Phone 3 and Legion Phone Duel both have high-resolution 64MP main shooters. They also have ultrawide cameras but the Legion Phone Duel has a higher 16MP resolution. The ROG Phone 3, on the other hand, has a dedicated 5MP macro camera, and a higher front camera resolution.
Battery-wise, the ROG Phone 3 wins in capacity at 6,000mAh. The Legion Phone Duel, on the other hand, has a 5,000mAh capacity, which is still impressive, but has a more powerful 90W fast charging tech.
As for other features, the two are almost the same, however, the ROG Phone 3 has the advantage in aspects like having a newer Bluetooth version, a voice wakeup feature, and the inclusion of the AeroActive Cooler 3 accessory.
Based on features, looks like the ROG Phone 3 has more to offer which affects the overall experience, but when it comes to performance, we can expect almost the same level of output.
As for pricing, we don’t have the local SRPs yet but it is one of the biggest factors that users will have to consider. The lower the price against its competitors, the more compelling it will be.
