YouTube Kids expands child-friendly library

YouTube Kids has recently expanded its content library of kid-friendly movies and special features.

 

Until August 31, 2020,  subscribers may enjoy animated movies such as includes Tayo the Little Bus, Baby
Shark and Pinkfong, Oggy & the Cockroaches, and Paddington. The list also includes the Oscar-winning short film Hair Love, BBC Studios’ hit series Hey Duggee, and educational content like Sesame Street’s Elmo’s World News.

The platform will also exclusively premiere Spookiz, a new movie produced by South Korean studio Keyring Studios and launched by WildBrains.

For special YouTube Originals, it will release the complete series of Disney’s Shook and Endemol Shine’s two Simon’s Cat specials for kids ages six and up. Among other new videos that will arrive on YouTube Originals for Kids & Family Channel and YouTube Kids are Sherwood (ages 8 and up), as well as Kings of Atlantis, Fruit Ninja Frenzy Force, and Lockdown (ages five and up).

YouTube Kids will also feature monthly themes. For the Month of Reading from StorylineOnline, it will feature Oprah Winfrey, Oscar Award-winning actor Rami Malek, and James Bond actress Michelle Yeoh.

With Camp YouTube, parents may also take their children with summer camp-themed content on the Learn@Home site and educational videos on YouTube Kids about as arts, adventure, sports, STEM, and more. They may also keep their kids entertained through the platform,

The new content will be uploaded every Monday under the “Shows” category as individual videos. It can also be found on the playlists.

As a safe online space for children 13 years old and below, YouTube Kids features parental controls on the
content a user can see. Parents may handpick other videos and channels to create a curated playlist for their kids.
