Sony has recently announced its latest full-frame, professional mirrorless camera, the Sony A7SIII.
The Sony A7SIII is equipped with a back-illuminated 12.1MP Exmor R CMOS sensor and is powered with a BIONZ XR image processor. It can record videos up to 4K at 120 FPS, as well as 10-bit 4:2:2 and new XAVC HS formats. For capturing complex movements, it now features Intra-encoding.
The camera ships with an extended ISO up to 409600 and improves noise reduction and color production. A first on the Alpha series, it allows 4K video recording at 60 FPS through the 16-bit RAW HDMI output. Among its other features include Fast Hybrid autofocus system with Real-Time Eye AF and Tracking, a new heat-dissipating system for keeping the camera cool, 15+ stops dynamic range for shooting movies, built-in 5-axis image stabilization with Active Mode, and an OLED electronic viewfinder.
At the back, the camera sports a 3-inch, vari-angle touchscreen LCD monitor for previewing photos and videos. It also has added a digital audio interface to the camera’s Multi-Interface (MI) Shoe for clearer sound, HEIF format and HLG image capture modes, and redesigned the menu.
In terms of connectivity, the camera supports 5G, USB Type-C for data transfer and wired fast charging, and WiFi.
The Sony A7SIII will be in the Philippines in October 2020. Stay tuned to our page for its local pricing and availability.
