Facebook rolls out Right Manager for Images tool in Creator Studio to help creators and publishers control their shared content across Facebook and Instagram.
According to Facebook, this is to ensure a safe and valuable platform for creators to share their content. It introduces the Rights Manager for Images with an image matching technology to help creators and publishers to manage their images as well as protect their ownership.
In order to access Rights Manager, Page admins can file an application for the content they have created and want to protect. The Rights Manager works by finding matching content on Facebook and Instagram. Settings can also be adjusted to match things, such as ownership, that could be applied globally or only in a specific location.
Furthermore, Facebook offers a fast and effective IP reporting system, a repeat infringer policy, and other measures to combat infringement.
