Google Meet extends unlimited calls to free plans until March 2021

Google Meet extends its unlimited Meet calls to free plans.

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to take away precious quality time spent together with loved ones, Google Meet understands the importance of being able to stay connected anytime and anywhere. The platform announced that it will extend its services for unlimited Meet calls to those with Gmail accounts for free until March 31, 2021.

Previously, Google announced that the free version of Meet will be limited to 60 minutes starting September 30, 2020.

With the extension of the unlimited Meet calls, users may communicate with their friends and family for up to 24 hours per call and enjoy new features on the video conferencing platform. This includes casting calls to your smart TV, joining hands-free on your Nest Hub Max, built-in background blur, 49-people tile view, and a virtual whiteboard for collaborations that Gmail account users may enjoy.
