ASUS Zenfone 9 w/ Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 now official

ASUS has just announced the latest version of its flagship Zenfone series with the new ASUS Zenfone 9.

Although an ultra-compact phone, the new ASUS Zenfone 9 packs in a large 4,300 mAh battery, the flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, and a fast 120Hz refresh rate display.

It also features what ASUS calls its ZenTouch multi-function button which allows users to access multiple functions with just a swipe of their thumb on the power button.

Its different functions include voice-to-text, opening the notifications panel, refreshing a web page, media controls, and scrolling to the top or bottom of a page.

The Zenfone 9 also comes with a whole bunch of new accessories such as ASUS’s new Smart Backpack Mount and a brand new Connex Case, Smart Stand, and Card Holder.

The ASUS Zenfone 9 is priced starting at USD 699 for the 8GB+128GB model, USD 749 for the 8GB+256GB model, and USD 799 for the 16GB+256GB model.

The ASUS Zenfone 9 is available in select regions around the world with its price slightly varying depending on the region. However, no announcement on pricing and availability has been made for the Philippines just yet.
