Dell decided to shut down their very own Dell Mobile Connect and Alienware Mobile Connect.
Based on the support page of Dell, the company will be unavailable for download starting November 30, 2022, and will be discontinued on January 31, 2023, for the United States, Canada, and Japan.
To all other countries, the app will be unavailable for download starting July 31, 2022, and will be discontinued starting November 30, 2022. Dell clarified that its users can still enjoy the software’s features until its regional discontinuation date.

Dell Mobile Connect and Alienware Mobile Connect were launched last 2018 to enable their laptops to be connected to smartphones such as Android and iOS. It also has similar software to other brands such as the Phone Link (formerly known as Your Phone App) from Microsoft which offers the same feature by letting smartphones connect to Windows 10 and 11 PCs.
Here are the steps to uninstall the App:
- Select Start, then select Settings > Apps > Apps & features.
- Select Dell Mobile Connect or Alienware Mobile Connect, then select Uninstall.
There are still some alternatives to this such as the Phone Link from Microsoft, and from other online stores, make sure that the creator is a legit one.
