A new collaboration has just been announced between The Walt Disney Company Asia Pacific and HYBE. The partnership sees both HYBE and Disney working together to help promote and showcase to the world South Korea’s music and entertainment industry.
The collaboration will see HYBE distribute 5 major content titles on Disney’s streaming services, with 2 exclusive series featuring the ever-popular K-Pop group, BTS.
Disney gave us a taste of what to expect by further detailing three of HYBE’s projects coming to Disney+. “BTS: PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LA” is a cinematic 4K concert film on BTS’ live performance at Los Angeles’ Sofi Stadium last November 2021.
“IN THE SOOP: Friendcation” is an original travel reality show that will feature V of BTS, Park Seo-jun, Choi Woo-shik, Park Hyung-sik, and Peakboy. “BTS MONUMENTS: BEYOND THE STAR” is an original docu-series that follows the journey and daily lives of BTS over the past nine years.
