The Nothing Phone (1) is set to be officially unveiled soon this July 12 and throughout the past weeks, Nothing has given us teasers of what to expect from its first smartphone.
The latest teaser comes in the form of two TikTok videos addressing user comments about the phone’s display. Nothing replied with a video that featured the phone having a display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The first TikTok posted by Nothing features the setting “Smooth display” which raises the phone’s display from 60Hz to 120Hz for a smoother scrolling experience. This would also mean that this could be toggled off and have the screen set at 60hz to save battery life.

The other TikTok featured a user unlocking the Phone (1) with its in-display fingerprint scanner. Nothing has been giving us a picture of what to expect, with the CEO Carl Pei confirming recently that the phone will feature a mid-range Snapdragon 778G+ chipset. We’ll just have to wait for a few more days to see the Nothing Phone (1) in its entirety.
