Destiny 2 developer Bungie is now officially part of Sony. The PlayStation maker initially announced the acquisition early this year. The initial announcement was reportedly worth USD 3.6 billion, but an SEC filing reveals the deal to be approximately worth USD 3.7 billion
Bungie CEO Pete Parsons has announced through a blog post that despite being under Sony’s umbrella, Bungie will “continue to independently publish and creatively develop our games” and that games in development will not be exclusive to PlayStation.
