Huawei recently introduced a new monitor in its MateView lineup, the MateView SE (Standard Edition). This monitor is also a freebie when you pre-order the MateBook D 16 2022, so what can we expect from this monitor? Let’s find out.
Huawei’s MateView lineup consists of the MateView GT 34-inch, MateView 27-inch, and MateView 28.2-inch. The MateView SE is the most affordable model now but still offers some benefits compared to the rest of the lineup.
For starters, it has a 23.8-inch screen with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution or 93ppi. It has an IPS panel, 100% sRGB color gamut, and 250 nits brightness. It also has thin bezels, so you can still get an immersive experience if you have a multiple monitor setup.
Huawei mentioned that there’s an Adjustable Swivel Stand Edition that supports pivot rotation from 0° to 90° vertical pivot. This can provide you with a vertical space for browsing websites or working on documents. It also supports 0mm to 110mm up and down height adjustment, -5°to 18° pitch angle adjustment, and VESA wall mounting.
Aside from supporting 16.7 million colors and a 75Hz refresh rate, it has a five-way joystick to control the OSD menu, HDMI port, DP port, and charging port. It also has this eBook Mode which provides paper-like display effects and automatically thickened fonts for a more comfortable reading experience.
The Huawei MateView SE is priced at PHP 7,999 and will be available for purchase on August 6.
