Huawei has released a mid-range device in Jordan that’s still on Android 9, the Huawei Y8s.
The Huawei Y8s sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ IPS display, with a Kirin 710 chipset under the hood. Storage-wise, it comes with 4GB of RAM, up to 128GB of storage, and MicroSD card support up to 512GB.
Photos are taken from the 48MP rear shooter accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. Selfies, on the other hand, are taken by the 8MP shooter that’s accompanied by the same 2MP depth sensor.
Interestingly, the Huawei Y8s ships with EMUI 9.1 based on Android 9 out of the box. It does, however, have Google services. Powering the device is a 4,000mAh battery charged via MicroUSB.
