Apple Card to offer installment payment option for iPads and Macs

Apple Inc. is reported to add an installment payment option on Apple Card for iPads and Mac devices.

According to Bloomberg, the California-based tech company is set to add the offering under its Apple Card credit card service in the US. This allows account holders to purchase Apple devices to a 12-month installment plan. Included for the one-year installment payment options are iPads, Macs, and peripherals such as Apple Pencil, iPad Smart Keyboard, and Mac Pro Display XDR.

Customers may also get the AirPods, Apple TV, and the HomePod under the six-month, zero-interest installment plan.

Similar to select authorized retailers selling phones and other products, the service makes Apple devices more reachable to the consumers and boosts the enrollment for the Apple Card. Payments will be managed in the Wallet app on the iPhone through the Apple Card section. Monthly fees from the plan will reflect on the customer’s Apple Card bill.

The Apple Card, in partnership with Goldman Sachs, was launched in the US last August 2019.
