Samsung Health Monitor App with Blood Pressure Measurement launched in South Korea

Samsung’s new Health Monitoring app that can measure the user’s blood pressure has been launched in South Korea.

Announced late April, Samsung is finally releasing their Health Monitor app following the approval from South Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS). Compatible with Galaxy Watch Active2 and succeeding smartwatches, users may sync the Samsung Health Monitor app and track their blood pressure anytime, anywhere, through pulse wave analysis. Do remember, to maintain accuracy, Samsung requires its users to calibrate the device every four weeks.

Additionally, Electrocardiogram (ECG) tracking will be supported on the Samsung Health Monitor app by the third quarter of the year.
