ASUS has recently started the recruitment for the Android 11 beta testing.
Those who own the ASUS Zenfone 6 with a model name ZS630KL may enroll for the brand’s beta testing program of Android 11. As beta testers, they are required to participate in every beta version released and test daily, report valid issues with the given format, ensure the posting of all beta-testing related issues in the beta restricted board, and maintain the confidentiality of the beta testing program.
Aan applicant for the beta testing should be a member of ZenTalk and actively participate in the discussion of ZenFone on ZenTalk, fluent in English, and familiar with Android. It is also a pre-requisite to have its boot-loader locked prior to the testing.
Those who are interested to join the beta testing program may need to update their Zenfone 6 to the latest Android 10 build 17.1810.2008.171.
To enroll, users may go to Setting>System>System update and click the gear icon at the top-right corner. They should choose and tap Enroll in the Beta Test Program and click Agree. They will be required to sign up for their ASUS member account and fill in the beta test application.
The recruitment ends on September 4, 2020. Qualified applicants will be notified via email on September 9, 2020.
Do note that applicants will not be able to enjoy Google Pay and other financial apps, as well as download Netflix via Google Play under the betas testing program.
