Facebook introduces Facebook Shop

Facebook, with all their other apps in tow, have started to roll Facebook Shop, together with Instagram Shop, in the US for businesses and creators.

During this COVID-19 pandemic, an estimated 85% of people worldwide started shifting to online shopping. This makes shopping for wants and needs a lot easier as it gives customers the option to stay at the comfort of their homes while taking a peek at what the brands, whether big or small, are putting up on their digital shelves.

Facebook Shop makes it easier to browse through their favorite brands and discovering new ones that are just as impressive as their go-to ones. Alongside this, getting your inquiries across isn’t that hard as businesses can connect to their customers through the Messenger and Instagram Direct (testing soon on WhatsApp soon) and Live Shopping (Facebook and Instagram) features, making the in-store experience as personalized and customized to the business’ brand personas.

To measure the insights and results of your products, Facebook Shop is complemented by the Commerce Manager that gives you more control over how your digital storefront would look and feel like.

The Shop features are now available to all businesses and creators in the US.
