Petron partners with PayMaya for contactless payment

Petron has recently partnered with PayMaya for a safe and contactless payment of motorists.

Customers may now gas up and pay by scanning the QR code with the PayMaya app or use credit or debit cards through the PayMaya POS device deployed in participating Petron branches.

To encourage motorists to use the QR code payment option, PayMaya is offering PHP 5 cashback per liter when they gas up in any Petron branches for a minimum of PHP 300 (PHP 100 starting on August 15). Customers with upgraded PayMaya accounts may earn up to PHP 500 of rebates per month. Meanwhile, those with regular PayMaya accounts may get a one-time rebate of PHP 30 for a minimum spend of PHP 250 (P100 starting on August 15). However, they need to upgrade their account after the transaction to receive the rebate.

Running until September 30, the offer can also be availed on top of the 1%, 10%, or 100% Balik Bayad QR promo capped at PHP 500 Balik Bayad per month.
