AC Motors plans to launch 6 models, open 6 showrooms in 2021

The AC Motors Automotive Group of Ayala has recently announced its plan to launch six models and open six showrooms this 2021.

AC Motors President Antonio “Toti” Zara III has revealed that the company is currently working on launching at least six models this year. Additionally, Zara has also mentioned opening six company-owned showrooms across its five auto brands.

Moreover, Zara emphasized that AC Motors aims to achieve a 10% share in the automotive market by 2025 despite the setback of the 2020 pandemic.

“We acknowledge that the local market still needs to recover from the devastating effects of an ongoing pandemic. But history has shown the resilience of our automotive market, time and again, through all manner of crises – and we are confident that this time will be no different,” Zara stated.

AC Motors began as Ayala Automotive Holdings Corporation, has helped bring auto brands in the Philippines, such as Honda and Isuzu. Plus, AC Motors has acquired exclusive distributorships for three more world-renowned brands, beginning with Volkswagen in 2013, Kia in 2019, and Maxus in 2019.
