OnePlus announces previous devices to receive OxygenOS 11

Smartphone brand OnePlus has recently announced more information about the OxygenOS 11, its latest UI based on Android 11.

One of the eligible OnePlus devices that will receive the OxygenOS 11 is the OnePlus Nord, as posted on its forum page. It is scheduled to receive the Open Beta build next week.

Meanwhile, the OnePlus 7 and 7T is in the line of getting the open beta build once the company resolves a data decryption issue. The brand is currently working with Qualcomm to get it fixed.  Do note that the release schedule for OnePlus 7 and 7T may vary for models purchased from carrier partners, including Verizon, T-Mobile, EE, and others.

The last older smartphones to receive the software update is the OnePlus 6, 6T, Nord 10 5G, and Nord 100.

Currently, the OxygenOS11 runs on the OnePlus  8, 8Pro, and 8T. It brings a redesigned look of the core apps, optimized Zen and Dark Mode, and improved readability.

OnePlus didn’t give an exact date for the release of the OxygenOS11. It also didn’t clarify if there will be more previous smartphones to be added to the list. More details will be revealed soon.
