All major Luzon expressways are now toll-free for frontline health workers

It’s never a bad idea to start the week with some good news, so we have some for you here: All healthcare workers may now enjoy toll-free passage on all major expressways in Luzon.

Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) secretary Mark Villar made the announcement over the weekend, and you can check the official Facebook post below.

The tollways under the San Miguel Corporation—the South Luzon Expressway, STAR Tollway, Skyway, NAIAX, and Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway—were already made toll-free for all medical personnel last week. In case you missed it, check it out here for more details.

Meanwhile, to avail toll-free trips along North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), NLEX Harbor Link, C5 South Link, Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway, Cavite-Manila Expressway, and Cavite-Laguna Expressway, frontliners may head to the Balintawak Toll Plaza Customer Service Center or the Cavitex Customer Service Center (right before the Parañaque Toll Plaza) anytime between 8:30am to 4pm to get their special RFIDs. The only document they need to bring is their PRC license card.
