Filipino workers can now directly file for DOLE PHP 5K cash assistance

Filipino workers affected by the COVID-19 lockdown may now go directly to the Department of Labor and Employment for a one-time PHP 5,000 cash aid.

Due to the number of employers who refuse to file for DOLE’s COVID-19 Adjustment Measures Program (CAMP) that entitles displaced workers with cash assistance, DOLE is now allowing workers to go directly to the agency.

According to Labor Secretary Bello, workers can contact DOLE to get a one-time PHP 5,000 cash assistance. DOLE advises workers to submit their own forms. DOLE will then send the money via remittance within two days of approval.
