If you thought a thousand-piece Lego set was hard enough build already, then take a look at what this guy just did: he carved a Toyota Land Cruiser out of wood.
To be fair, though, you only need to follow instructions properly to successfully build a Lego set. Woodcarving, however, is an entirely different thing that requires a specific skillset. But you can’t deny that the Land Cruiser you see here can easily take a spot in that glass cabinet that houses all your collectibles, right?
Just look at the details on this thing. The badges are properly carved out, plus, the doors and the hood can be opened. While it hasn’t been finished with paint (maybe not yet), the headlamps, taillights, and chrome strips have already been plastered with what seems to be cellophane, giving the figurine some nice highlights. Oh, and the details on the wheels and tire treads are pretty accurate, too—the spare underneath included.
The best part her, is that the artist who carved the vehicle also filmed the entire process—from prepping the blocks of wood up until the finishing touches. Spoiler alert: it’s insanely satisfying. You can check it out below and see for yourself.

Since we’ve all got a lot of time on our hands these days, it might be a good idea to check out the old tools in the garage and see if there are some scraps of wood to have fun with. Something like this will surely help pass the time right now, don’t you think?
