Know a healthcare worker in need of a ride? Hertz PH is renting units for free

One extra vehicle added to our roads would have probably been frowned upon just a couple of months ago. But that was then.

During this fight against the COVID-19 outbreak, we need to mobilize all the vehicles we can, both to ferry our healthcare workers and to transport essential supplies. While there are already several initiatives from the public and private sectors to address these transport concerns, it still doesn’t hurt to provide our frontliners with even more alternatives in this time of need.

That’s why Hertz Philippines’ latest announcement is music to our ears. The car-rental company is offering free self-drive rentals to all medical personnel across the country. Each rental period is for a maximum of 30 days, and the company is encouraging everyone to only rent out vehicles as needed so as to allow more frontliners to be able to avail of the services.

Hertz says that it only has limited vehicles available so it will prioritize providing services based on need. That said, this initiative will still be of big help to our healthcare workers, so kudos to the company for this effort.

If you know anyone who might find this information beneficial, spread the word. On the other hand, if you want to check out more of our stories on this ongoing pandemic, read up on them through this link.
