It looks like Suzuki Philippines isn’t taking a laid-back approach to pushing the Ertiga in our market, despite the MPV’s initial success.
The Japanese car manufacturer has just given its popular seven-seater an upgrade for 2020, equipping the vehicle with a few subtle but much-appreciated tweaks to both its cabin and exterior.
Outside, the 2020 Suzuki Ertiga flaunts a new set of wheels. GLX Ertiga units get sportier-looking 15-inch polished alloy rims, while the Suzuki Ertiga GA now gets full wheel covers. Aside from this, no other alterations have been made to the vehicle’s design.
Inside, Suzuki has finally equipped the Ertiga GLX with an automatic A/C system, replacing the pre-updated version’s large plastic dials with finer knobs and buttons. Rear passengers in GL and GLX Ertiga units will now also enjoy the convenience of having a second-row foldable center armrest.
Check out the new prices of the Suzuki Ertiga below:
2020 Suzuksi Ertiga
- Suzuki Ertiga 1.5 GA MT – P743,000
- Suzuki Ertiga 1.5 GL MT – P863,000
- Suzuki Ertiga 1.5 GL AT – P903,000
- Suzuki Ertiga 1.5 GLX AT – P993,000
All units of the Suzuki Ertiga are now priced P15,000 higher than before. The vehicle still runs on a K15B 1.5-liter DOHC gasoline engine capable of 103hp and 138Nm of torque, with transmission options being either a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic.
It’s also worth noting that the XL7—a more rugged version of the vehicle—is about to arrive in the Philippines with a P1,068,000 price tag. If you’re eyeing the Ertiga, its subcompact SUV sibling might be worth waiting for, too. You can read more about it here.
